Your home is your most important asset. Not only does it offer security and protection from the elements, it also represents a significant proportion of most family’s financial stability. Unfortunately, most people do not place enough emphasis on reliable and unbiased information, and will often make a significant purchase decision without obtaining advice from an impartial expert.
A certified valuation can be a powerful negotiating tool when purchasing a property, or offer piece of mind and clarity when engaging an agent to sell your home. We have no interest or motivation in telling you what you want to hear within a valuation report, only what we believe is correct.
You may also require a valuation to be completed when transferring property from one family member to another to satisfy the Office of State Revenue when assessing Stamp Duty. And matters of probate will require a valuation prior to settling an estate.
A valuation must also be completed by a trained, qualified and experienced valuer, who is registered with the NSW Department of Fair Trading. You will also want to ensure that you receive the best standard by insisting that your valuer has attained the status of Certified Practising Valuer and is a member of the Australian Property Institute – the governing body for the industry Australia wide.
As we are qualified to provide not only expert valuation services, but also Household Sustainability Assessments (HAS), we are happy to include a free HSA with every valuation report requested.
